SABINA DUMITRESCU
Integrative psychotherapy
Space to explore your experiences, emotions and relationships, at a pace we agree together.
What we can explore
People come to therapy with different questions: feeling stuck, changes in relationships, grief, uncertainty, difficult emotions or pressures at work. You do not need to arrive with a precise label or a complete explanation.
Our first conversations help us understand your circumstances and decide whether my approach is suitable for your needs.
An integrative approach
Integrative psychotherapy draws on different psychological perspectives. I consider your thoughts, emotions, behaviour, relationships and wider life context together, adapting our work to the person in front of me.
The first appointment
We talk about what has prompted you to reach out, what you would like to understand or change, and relevant aspects of your experience. You can ask about my approach, qualifications, confidentiality and practical arrangements.
It may take more than one conversation to understand your situation. The first session is also your opportunity to see how it feels to work together.
During our work
I will invite you to talk about what matters to you. Trust can take time. Where helpful, we may agree on reflection or practical activities between meetings.
We discuss the frequency and length of our work together and review them as your needs develop. There is no fixed programme or promised outcome.
Confidentiality
We discuss professional confidentiality and its limits at the beginning of our work.
Meeting in person or online
English-language sessions are €99 for 60 minutes, by appointment. We can meet in my practice near Piața Dorobanți and Piața Floreasca, or online where suitable. Please mention your location if enquiring from outside Romania.
YOUR FIRST STEP
Let’s start with a conversation.
